SkoreIt Bans Power Bidders and Multi Account Users

SkoreIt has laid down the ban hammer on many of the most prolific bidders on the site.

Called power bidders, bid collectors or just the biggest bidders on Skore It, the bottom line is that many of them are booted from the site.

The investigations started about a week ago where some forum regulars wifes accounts had flagged for suspension.

“Husband and Wife Teams’, Resellers and other successful bidders have recently had their accounts shut down on SkoreIt.

The carnage is falling out over at PennyBurners, with the good stuff kicking in on the 2nd and 3rd page. There had long been talk of how bad things were at SI and how much trouble SI must have been in. While it does seem like they have cut way back on their auctions it is really hard to say if they are hurting as a business or not.

Anyway – let it be known that if you and your significant other both have accounts on SI and you both have been bidding then it is likely you will be investigated.

An update list of bidders who have been banned is being updated by Nick on the first post of the SI banning thread.

As a big fan of bidding SI, PennyAuctionSites.com will keep our ears open and recap and link to important developments as they emerge.

About Auction Junkie

The Auction Junkie, better known just as "Spry" grew up in the country in the foothills of north Georgia. I began playing competitive games like chess and backgammon at a very young age. I began playing poker somewhat seriously a year before Chris Moneymaker won the WSOP and have been doing so every since. Making the leap to penny auctions came fairly easy as penny auctions are strategic games with similar aspects to poker, chess and gambling in general.
